2. Unpacking
•
Pull off
tear strip
at the centre of the cardboard box.
•
Remove
upper half of cardboard box
.
•
Lift appliance out of box in its polystyrene shell.
•
Check to make sure
appliance is undamaged
.
•
Take appliance to
installation site.
3. Installation
When
installing
the appliance, observe the enclosed
connection diagrams
as well as the following
instruc-
tions
:
•
Assemble the appliance in an
upright
position in
the vicinity of the dishwasher.
•
Make sure the
cold water, reject water and
power connections
are close to the appliance.
•
Make sure the
monitoring indicators
of the appli-
ance remain visible.
•
Make sure the front door can be opened in order to
change the filters
.
•
Ensure adequate
ventilation
: leave a 2 cm gap
between the sides of the appliance and any adja-
cent fitments or walls to allow air circulation.
•
Take care to avoid crushing any connections
during assembly.
•
The appliance is not splash-proof
. Do not clean
the outside with a wet cloth or with a high-pressure
or steam-jet cleaning device. Do not use detergents. Only wipe the
outside
of the appliance with a
damp cloth
.
If the appliance cannot be protected against splash water for structural reasons, an additional substruc-
ture should be provided.
