3.4 STB to STB Upgrade (for advanced users)

You can transmit firmware data from one PVRX2 to another.

3.4.1 Select upgrade data type

You can transmit program default data or

application (firmware) data to another

PVRX2.

3.4.2 Prepare sending data

After selecting the data transfer type, the

STB is ready to send data. Before starting transmission, you can cancel

sending.

3.4.3 Sending data

When the host STB is ready to transmit, connect a RS232 cable

between the host and target STB, then reboot the target STB. Then the

data transmission will begin.

Warning: DO NOT power off or disconnect cable while transmitting data.
