CONNECTING A DEVICE TO YOUR KINETIC GATEWAY
A. For Wi-Fi connections:
1. Locate the SSID and password on the side of
your gateway. If multiple SSIDs are listed,
join the one indicated for “SmartSteering On”
- this is enabled by default.
2. Follow your device manufacturer’s
instructions for joining the Wi-Fi network.
B. For wired connections:
1. Connect the yellow ethernet cable to any
of the four LAN ports on the back of your
gateway.
2. Connect the other end of the yellow ethernet
cable to your device’s ethernet port.

WAITING FOR YOUR GATEWAY LIGHTS TO TURN GREEN
The lights on the front of your gateway will flash and
then turn solid. Wait until the Internet light changes
from orange to GREEN. This usually takes about 3
minutes.
**If the Internet light does NOT turn green, please make
sure you followed the previous steps correctly.
Open Internet Browser and you
will be redirected to the Go
Kinetic portal (my.gokinetic.
com) where we will guide you
through the rest of the install.
Note
: You will not be able to browse the
Internet until the install is complete.
