WARNING

The unit, power cord, and plug are not customer-serviceable. Do
not replace or repair the cord yourself if damaged or not working.
Replacement or repair may only be done by a licensed and authorized
electrician using parts from the manufacturer only, and in accordance
with the National Electric Code. Contact Windmill for manufacturer
approved replacement parts.

Do NOT use extension cords, surge protectors, or adapters with this AC
unit.
●
To protect against potential shock hazard, Windmill’s power cord comes
with a three-prong grounding plug. Use this with a standard three-slot
grounding wall outlet. See diagram below. If you are not sure your outlet
can support the AC unit, consult a qualified, licensed electrician to ensure
your wall outlet is properly grounded, set up, and ready for use.

Important safety instructions

Do not cut or remove the third ground prong from the power plug.

Use a dedicated circuit.
●
Do not start or stop the AC by using the power cord. It is not meant to be
an ON/OFF switch. Use the power button on the unit, app, or remote.
●
Do not pull on the power cord. To unplug, grip plug securely and pull
straight out.
●
Take care to avoid damaging the power cord when installing, lifting,
storing, or moving the AC, do not damage the power cord. Keep the power
cord away from any heat sources. Do not set heavy objects on the power
cord.
●
Only run the AC unit with the assembled, protective metal housing
securely in place. Exposing the internal parts could lead to electrical and
mechanical damage, and may lead to serious injury or death.
●
The conductors inside this cord are surrounded by shields. Examine the
cord for damage often. Do NOT use this product if the shields become
exposed.
●
Do not modify, cut, damage, or tamper with the product, power cord, or
plug. This can expose you to the risk of serious injury or death and will void
the Limited Warranty.
Power cord includes a current device that can detect damage. TEST and
RESET buttons are provided on the plug case. Never press the TEST button
when the unit is operating. This device should be tested often when the unit
is NOT operating. To test the device, press the TEST button. The RESET button
should pop out. Then, press the RESET button, which should stay engaged.
For proper operation, make sure the RESET button is pressed in. If the TEST
button does not cause the RESET button to pop out or if the RESET button
will not stay engaged, do NOT use the AC unit. Contact Windmill support at
