Selects the character set to be used until the printer is initialized, reset, or powered off. Look in
“Appendix B: Resident Character Sets” in the

User Guide

for the character sets. The alphanumeric

characters (0x20-0x7F) are the same for each set.
There are two codes for this command (see select international character set, 1B 74

). Both codes

perform the same function.

Related information

The LEGACY emulation selection applies only to the command “Select international character
