Activating the Basic Video Player
The basic video player
(Microsoft Windows Media Player 11)
doesn't require any license and
can be activated at any time. To do this click on the green button at the right side of the
section
Basic Video Player
in the Video player settings dialogue (1).
IMPORTANT: If you do NOT want to buy a license for the
WinCan Video Player
and prefer to
use explicitely the
Basic Video Player
to display the video clips in WinCan Viewer you will
NEVER have a warrantee, that videos recorded in MPEG2- or MPEG4-format can be dis-
played without any problems on the target PC.
In such a case you will have to install the required CODECS yourself.
