Description of the functions

Scalding protection:

DIP switch 1

Only for TD design:

 

Is used to automatically stop the thermal disinfection, once a user enters 
the detection range of the fitting.

i

 Note:

Thermal disinfection may be accidently aborted if dense steam forms in 
front of the fitting. 

If this happens, disable the scalding protection function to protect against 
exposure to scalding water.

“ON” position

 = scalding protection activated (preset). 

“OFF” position

 = scalding protection deactivated.

During thermal disinfection, the infrared sensor monitors 
the detection range of the fitting.

Safety flow arrest:

 

The water flow is immediately cut off if you approach the 
fitting.

Restart:

 

The thermal disinfection is automatically restarted, if you 
do not enter the detection range for two minutes after the 
flushing is aborted.
