must be observed and kept in a fully legible condition.
2.5 Personnel qualifications
The personnel for installation, operation and maintenance must have the appropriate qualifications for
this work. The responsibilities, competences and supervision of the personnel must be ensured by the
operator. If the personnel do not have the necessary knowledge, they must be trained and instructed. If
required, this may be done on behalf of the operator by the manufacturer of the product.
2.6 Danger in the event of non-observance of the safety instructions
Non-observance of the safety instructions can result in risk of injury to persons and damage to
product/installation. Non-observance of the safety instructions can result in the loss of any claims to
damages.
In detail, non-observance can, for example, result in the following risks

Risk to persons from electrical, mechanical and bacteriological influences,

Danger to the environment due to leakage of hazardous substances,

Property damages,

Failure of important functions of the product/system,

Failure of required maintenance and repair procedures,
2.7 Safety-conscious operation
The safety instructions given in these operating instructions, the existing national accident prevention
regulations and any internal work, operating and safety regulations of the operator must be observed.
2.8 Safety instructions for the operator
This equipment is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or for lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed
by a person responsible for their safety how to use this equipment.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.

If hot or cold components on the product/plant lead to hazards, they must be protected on site
against contact.

Protection against accidental contact of moving components (e.g. coupling) is not allowed to be
removed while the product is in operation.

Leaks of hazardous media (e.g. explosive, toxic, hot) are to be conducted away in such a way that
there is no danger to persons or the environment. National legal regulations must be observed..

Highly flammable materials must always be kept away from the product.

Hazards caused by electrical energy must be excluded. Instructions of local or general regulations
[e.g. IEC, VDE etc.] and the local energy supply companies must be observed.
