Pump description
(Fig. 1)
The circulating pump is fitted with
a wet runner motor. On the motor
casing there is an electronic con-
trol module (fig. 1, pos. 1) which
sets the pump's differential pressu-
re to an adjustable value of bet-
ween 0.5 and 3.0 m or 1 and 5 m
respectively. In this way, the pump
adapts constantly to the changing
power requirements of the system
as they occur, particularly when
temperature valves are used.
The main advantages of the pump
are:
– no need for an overflow valve,
– it saves energy
– it reduces noise caused by
the flow.
Control mode:
Variable differenti-
al pressure (
∆
p-v):
The differential pressure setpoint
levels being proportionally increa-
sed between
|
H and H over the
permissible flow range. The pump-
generated differential pressure will
thus be controlled to the respective
level (Fig. 2).
Automatic reduction device
(autopilot)
In automatic operation the pump
automatically
follows
the night-
time slowdown
of the heating
system thanks to the electronic as-
sessment of a temperature sensor.
The pump then switches to min-
imum speed. When the boiler heats
up again the pump returns to the
previously selected setpoint level.
The automatic reduction device
(autopilot) can be switched off:
auto
f
automatic operation „ON“,
control operation to chosen
setpoint, if the boiler is in
reduction mode (drop in
inlet temperature) the pump
switches to minimum speed
(further energy-saving).
f
automatic operation „OFF“,
control operation to cho-
sen setpoint.
Factory setting: automatic operati-
on „OFF“, H = 2 m (E... / 1-3),
H = 3 m (E... / 1-5).
If the heating/air-
conditioning sys-
tem is not adequately supplied
(heating output too low), check
whether the automatic operation
mode is switched on. If necessary
switch this off.
Control elements
on front of con-
trol module:
– Regulating knob for the desired
differential pressure value and
for activating/deactivating the
autopilot:
