Thank you for purchasing this William L. 1985 watch. The following instructions are provided to help you
familiarize yourself with the proper operation and care of your William L. 1985 watch. To ensure correct use,
please read and follow the instructions carefully.
MOVEMENT
Japanese Seiko VX9JE Quartz Caliber
TIME SETTING
To set the time of your Vintage Style Calendar follow these steps:
1.
Pull the crown out to the position 1.
2.
Turn the crown clockwise to set hour and minute hands to set the time. Take a.m./p.m. into
consideration when setting the hour and minute hands to the desired time.

The 24-hour hand moves correspondingly with the hour hand.

When setting the hour hand, check that the 24-hour hand is correctly set.

When setting the minute hand, advance it to 5 minutes ahead of the desired time and then turn
it back to the exact time.
3.
Push the crown back to the position 0.
