REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES
1. Remove the battery cover plate from the rear of the remote control (as shown in the
igure).
2. Take out the old batteries.
3. Insert two new AAA1.5V dry batteries and ensure the batteries are inserted in the
correct direction.
4. Replace the battery cover plate.
Notes:
• When replacing the batteries, do not use old or different types of batteries, as this
may cause malfunction.
• If the remote control will not be used for a long period of time, please remove the
batteries to prevent loss of charge.
• The operation should be performed within the reception range.
• It should be kept 1m away from the TV set or stereo sound sets.
• If the remote control does not operate normally, please take the batteries out and
reinsert them after 30 seconds. If it still does not operate properly, replace the
batteries.
MAINTENANCE
Before inspection and maintenance on the unit, PLEASE turn the power switch to “OFF” to disconnect the power supply.
Units
Indoor unit, Outdoor unit and Remote control
1. Wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
Front panel
1. Open the front panel. Slide the two stoppers on the left and right sides
inward until they click.
2. Removing the front panel.
• Remove the string.
• Allowing the front panel to fall forward will enable you to remove it.
3. Cleaning the front panel.
• Wipe it with a soft cloth soaked in water
• Only neutral detergent may be used
• If washing the front panel with water, dry it with a cloth and allow it to
dry in the shade after washing.
4. Attaching the front panel.
• Insert the front panel into the grooves of the unit (3 places).
• Attach the string to the right, inner-side of the front grille.
• Close the panel slowly.
Note:
• Do not touch the metal parts of the indoor unit as touching these parts may cause injury.
• When removing or attaching the front panel, use a solid, stable stool and watch your step.
• When removing or attaching the front panel, support the panel securely with your hand to prevent it from falling.
• For cleaning, do not use hot water above 40 °C, benzene or other volatile oils, polishing compounds, scrubbing brushes, or
other hard stuff.
• After cleaning, make sure that the front panel is securely fastened.
