Current inputs

The 4 analog inputs are “single ended” inputs. The negative signal pole of all

inputs is therefore AGND.

The analog potentials (AIx and AGND) are electrically isolated from the power

supply (+24 V, 0 V) and the PE.
The following should therefore be noted when connecting current sources to the

analog inputs:
a) Potential-free signal sources:
The required potential interface is already guaranteed since the input signal

potential is based on AGND.
b) Non-isolated signal sources:
In the case of varying, non-isolated signal sources, it should be noted that no short

circuit of the signal sources occurs due to the connection to AGND.
