angle stop with appropriate markings. The 0° and 45° position are set at the respective end stop.
1) Loosen the locking bolts for the angle stop with the supplied hex key.
2) Adjust the desired angle and firmly tighten both locking bolts again (See Fig 4).
9. Displacing the angle stop
When cut workpieces wider than 140 mm, the angle stop can be displaced to the rear.
1) Completely unscrew locking bolts with the supplied hex key.
2) Move the angle stop toward the rear by one or two holes to the desired clearance (See Fig 5).
3) Adjust the desired angle and firmly tighten both locking bolts again.
10. Clamping the workpiece
1) Place the workpiece against the angle stop.
2) Slide the clamping spindle against the workpiece and firmly clamp the workpiece with the spindle
handle (See Fig 6).
Note:
• Do not cut workpieces that are too small to clamp.
• Long workpieces must be underlaid or supported at their free end.
11. Loosening the workpiece
1) Loosen the spindle handle.
2) Tilt up the quick release and pull the clamping spindle away from the workpiece (See Fig 7).
12. Switching on and off
1) To start the power tool, press the on/off switch and keep it pressed (See Fig 8).
2) To switch the power tool off, release the on/off switch.
Note: For safety reasons, the on/off switch cannot be locked, it must remain pressed during the entire
operation.
13. Operation
1) Set the desired mitre angle.
2) Firmly clamp the workpiece as appropriate for its dimensions.
3) Switch on the power tool.
4) Guide the power tool arm slowly downward with the handle.
5) Cut through the workpiece applying uniform feed (See Fig 9).
6) Switch off the power tool and wait until the cutting disc has come to a complete stop.
7) Guide the power tool arm slowly upward.
Warning:
• Do not stand in a line with the cutting disc in front of the machine. Always stand aside of the cutting
disc. This measure provides for better protection of your body against possible splinters in case of
cutting disc breakage.
• Keep hands, fingers and arms away from the rotating cutting disc.
