3. Ventilation - Carbon Monoxide Warning
Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the required opera�ng voltage for the
product (220–240V~).
Protect the mains cable from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces. Ensure it cannot be
trapped or clamped.
Do not pull the mains cable and make sure it is laid down properly so that no one walks or trips over it.
Unplug from mains power supply by hand.
Regularly check the appliance and cable for damage. Never use this product if you discover it is damaged
in any way.
Use this appliance only in dry indoor loca�on. Not outdoors. Do not posi�on where ar�cle can get wet by
accident.
Never immerse the appliance’s body in water or other liquids. Doing so may result in serious injury or
poten�ally fatal electric shock.
Risk of overhea�ng and fire! Posi�on this appliance away from sources of heat and naked flames.
Do not modify this appliance in any way. Risk of electric shock!
Do not a�empt to repair the appliance yourself, refer repairs to an authorized specialist. To avoid danger,
faulty power cords must only be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified
person using an equivalent cable.
Switch off the appliance and always disconnect the plug from the power socket (pull on the plug, not on
the cable) when the appliance is not in being used (including during breaks), cleaning or in case of
malfunc�on.
If using the heater in damp loca�on is unavoidable, use residual current device (RCD) protected supply.
Use of this device reduces the risk of electric shock.
CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING CAN KILL
Lack of ven�la�on can cause Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
Carbon Monoxide is a highly toxic, odourless, colourless and tasteless gas, created by the incomplete
combus�on of carbon compounds due to a lack of available oxygen in an enclosed space. The signs of
carbon monoxide poisoning are, headaches, dizziness and/or nausea. Should anyone show these signs,
they must GET FRESH AIR IMMEDIATELY. Turn off the heater and have it serviced before using again.
Pregnant women, persons with a heart or lung condi�on, anaemia or under the influence of alcohol, or
those living at high al�tudes, are more likely to be effected by carbon monoxide than others.
