IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following safety instructions should always be followed to reduce the risk of electric shock, personal injury or
fire. It is important to read all of these instructions carefully before using the product and to retain them for
future reference or new users.
1.
This appliance must only be used as intended in accordance with these instructions.
2.
Do not carry the appliance by the mains cable or pull the cable to remove the plug from the power socket.
3.
Do not operate this appliance if the cable or plug becomes damaged. A qualified electrician must always carry
out any necessary repairs.
4.
If the appliance stops working unexpectedly or appears to malfunction, switch off the power supply, unplug from
the mains and stop using immediately. Seek a qualified electrician to rectify the fault or make any repairs.
5.
Switch off the power supply and unplug from the mains when not in use, before cleaning or moving the vacuum.
6.
Avoid positioning the vacuum where the power cable might be accidently trapped or damaged.
7.
Keep the appliance and cable away from sources of heat, sharp objects or anything that may cause damage.
8.
Ensure that the appliance is switched OFF before connecting to the mains power supply.
9.
This device can be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or with lack of experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed regarding safe
use of the device and understand the resulting risks. Children are not permitted to play with this device. Cleaning
and used maintenance are not to be undertaken by children without supervision.

Children should be closely supervised at all times when they are near any electrical appliance.
11.
Never leave a machine which is ready for operation unattended at the workplace.
12.
This appliance is intended for domestic and commercial use.
13.
Do not use this vacuum cleaner in the immediate surroundings of environment where there is the presence of
explosive gas, inflammable fluids (such as petrol, oil, solvents, etc.), acids, varnish or glue and caustic solutions.
Do not vacuum hot fluids or material, such as burning cigarettes, ashes, glowing coals, boiling water, etc.

Do not use the appliance with a programmer, timer or other device that switches the appliance on
automatically.
15.
It should be used on a firm surface and always standing in an upright position.
16.
To avoid motor damage DO NOT COVER THE VACUUM.
17.
People and animals cannot be vacuumed with the machine.
18.
Do not position the appliance directly below a power socket. The appliance should be positioned so that the plug
is always accessible.

Always match power supply rating to the one stated on th
e power rating label and make sure it’s compatible
with plug fitted. Use only with an approved and compatible extension lead rated for this appliance, follow the
instruction included with extension lead or seek help from qualified electrician. When operated outdoors, use
extension cord suitable for outdoor use to reduce the risk of electric shock.
20.
Never modify the plug in any way or use with adapters.
21.
Never leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains power supply.
22.
Always switch off the vacuum and ensure that it is disconnected from the power supply during the assembly or
when the appliance is not in use, when cleaning the appliance, for maintenance and before opening the lid.
23.
The appliance has IPX4 water protection rating (Protected against splashing water) however, if used outdoor, do
not operate the vacuum in adverse weather conditions such as: heavy rain, temperatures above 30
°
C, heavy
winds.
24.
This appliance must only be connected to mains socket via a residual-current circuit breaker (RCD) with a rated
leakage current of not more than 30mA.
