Important note
This document must be presented for any proceedings related to the warranty. The buyer must keep this
document in a safe place.
The consumer may file a warranty claim with the manufacturer from whom they purchased the product.
If you lose the policy, the manufacturer will issue a new warranty after you submit the respective proof of
purchase or invoice.
This warranty
covers this appliance and all its parts, components and labor in the terms provided for
herein, as of the date of purchase or the date on which the user receives the product, submitting the
relevant proof of purchase, and with the following considerations:
ITEMS COVERED AT NO CHARGE TO THE CONSUMER
•
Manufacturing defects that prevent the appliance from working partially or fully.
•
Repair, replacement of parts or components.
•
Labor and carriage costs derived from a claim made under the warranty, in our service network.
ITEMS NOT COVERED
•
When the product has not been used according to the Use and Care Guide.
•
When the product has been used in Commercial or Industrial use conditions.
•
Labor and assistance to:
o
Correct the general connection of an appliance NOT installed by a Whirlpool-authorized
technician.
o
Explanation of Use and Demonstration of how your appliance operates.
o
Changes or Repairs made at home: Plumbing, Masonry, Electricity, among others.
•
Service Calls to replace bulbs, air and water filters.
•
Aesthetic damage, when the product is exposed to the open air.
•
Faults caused in the appliance by voltage fluctuations caused by a short-circuit or electric
overloads.
•
Damage caused by accidents, alterations, undue use, misuse, incorrect installation, any installation
failing to observe the requirements mentioned in the product Installation Instructions.
•
Aesthetic damage, including scratches, dents, chips or any other damage to your appliance's finish.
•
Movement of the appliance at the customer's request.
•
Product repairs performed by any person NOT authorized by Whirlpool and/or the use of
NON-original parts.
•
The relocation and re-installation of your appliance, if it were installed in an inaccessible place or
were not installed in accordance with Whirlpool's published Installation Instructions.
•
Spare parts or labor in appliances with model/serial numbers that have been removed, altered or
cannot be easily ascertained.
Procedure to file a warranty claim:

the Republic) to request service. Repair time will not exceed 30 days as of the date of the request. On the
date of the service, submit the
Warranty
with the appliance's
Identification Form
data, as well as proof of
the date of purchase or receipt of the product.
Validity period:
This warranty is valid for 1 YEAR for all parts and labor, and for 3 YEARS for the sealed refrigeration
system, starting on the date of purchase.
NOTE:
The sealed refrigeration system comprises the COMPRESSOR, EVAPORATOR, FILTER DRIER,
CONDENSER, CONNECTION PIPE AND SUCTION PIPE.
