• Is there power failure?
Turn the freezer off for 30 minutes for the refrigeration
system to stabilize. If possible, keep the lid closed during
that period of time.
• Temperature control set to “refrigerator” or
intermediary position.
Set to the freezer position (see item “How to operate the
temperature control”).
• Excessive opening of the doors.
Tell people to open the doors only when necessary.
Some noises are considered normal to the operation of the
freezer. Find below a table with such noises.
• Cracks.
Cracks are due to the normal operation of the temperature
control (thermostat).
• Compressor noise.
This noise is characteristic of the motor. It means that the
compressor is operating.
• Temperature control set to “freezer” or at
intermediary position.
Set to the refrigerator position (see item “How to
operate the temperature control”).

Normal noises
• Poor distribution of food, blocking air circulation.
Rearrange food.
• Too much food to be frozen.
Observe maximum freezing capacity.
• Gas expansion noise.
This noise is characteristic of gas expansion in the
refrigeration system. It is a noise similar to the one
generated when we inflate a gas balloon.
• Ventilation noise.
It is characteristic of the condenser ventilation refrigeration
system.
