ATTENTION
Changing of the sensor should only be performed when the defect shown is “Alarm Sounding/
LEDs Blinking”, and the product COOLS NORMALLY IN THE REFRIGERATOR/ FREEZER
COMPARTMENTS.
Do not replace the sensor prior to making the analysis on the points below.
•
Ensure that the product is cooling normally;
•
Ice
BLOCKING
should
NOT
exist in the Return/Blowing Ducts;
•
The drain must not be clogged;
•
Be sure that the alarm
IS NOT 4 Hz
, (lights blink 40 times either 10 seconds), for the 4 Hz alarm
indicates a defrost system and
NOT
a Sensor failure;
•
Ensure that
NO
yielding problem exists associated with the Hermetic System (Leakage, shortage of
refrigerant, clogging, etc.);
•
Ensure that the Return and Blowing Ducts are
NOT
jammed by objects;
•
Check for any failures in the Door Management System
Note:
The Door Management System will ALWAYS BE NULLIFIED while the product is under Alarm, that
is, this checking procedure should only be performed after reading the Sensor Voltage.
IMPORTANT
Under this Alarm status in which the product Cools Normally,
THE POTENCY MODULE
SHALL NOT BE REPLACED,
for it will
NOT
solve the problem.
FIELD PROVISIONS
Upon receiving this type of call, direct the Customer to
“DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PRODUCT FROM
THE SOCKET”
. Under situations when the product is sounding the Alarm, just direct the Customer to press
the “Alarm Off” key. By doing so, the sound Alarm (Horn) will turn off and the visual Alarm made by the
LEDs (green/red lights on the Freezer Control Panel) will remain blinking, thus facilitating the identification
of the problem. Thereafter proceed to:
1- Without disconnecting the product from the Wall Socket, release the
Potency Module (take out the Metallic Cover and Module Plastic
Cover) such as to gain access to the product Electric Wiring to
which the Module is connected.
