The washing machine must be 

disconnected from the power 

supply before carrying out any 

cleaning or maintenance 

operation.

Never use steam cleaning 

equipment.

must not be accessible to the 

user after installation.
Do not touch the washing 

machine with any wet part of 

the body and do not operate it 

when barefoot.

INSTRALLING ELECTRICAL 

CONNECTIONS

Ensure the earth connection in 

your supply is proper before 

connecting the power cord.  

The socket should be standard 

and independent: 3 pin type of 

230V AC, 50 Hz. A connection 

with separate line fuse or 

circuit breaker of value 16A.

Connect the power plug to the 

wall outlet. If the power cord is 

damaged, it must be replaced 

by the Whirlpool authorized 

service person in order to avoid 

hazard.

CAUTION

Do not use extension junction 

box as it may not be properly 

earthed.

The appliance must be 

earthed. The Whirlpool of India 

Ltd. declines any responsibility 

for damage caused by failure 

to observe this rule; you are 

therefore advised to check that 

your household supply has 

efficient earthing.

Do not use a manual stabilizer.

Socket outlet/plug 

If the fitted plug is not suitable 

for your socket outlet, contact 

After‑Sales Service for further 

instruction. Do not attempt to 

change the plug yourself .This 

procedure needs to be carried 

out by a qualified technician in 

compliance with the 

manufacturer’s instructions 

and current standard safety 

regulations.

CORRECT USE

Do not exceed the maximum 

load allowed. Check the 

maximum load allowed in the 

programme chart.
