To reinstall w asher after non-use, vacation, w inter storage,
or m oving:
1. R efer to “Installation Instructions” to locate, level, and
connect w asher.
2. B efore using again, run w asher through the follow ing
recom m ended procedure:

1. Flush w ater pipes and hoses. R econnect w ater inlet
hoses. Turn on both w ater taps.
2. P lug in w asher or reconnect pow er.
3. R un w asher through B U LK Y ITEM S cycle to clean
w asher and rem ove antifreeze, if used. U se only HE
High Efficiency detergent. U se half the m anufacturer’s
recom m ended am ount for a m edium -size load.

1. S hut off both w ater taps. Disconnect and drain w ater
inlet hoses.
2. If w asher w ill be m oved during freezing w eather, follow
“W inter S torage C are” directions before m oving.
3. Disconnect drain from drain system and drain any
rem aining w ater into a pan or bucket. Disconnect drain
hose from back of w asher.
4. U nplug pow er cord.
5. P lace inlet hoses and drain hose inside w asher basket.
6. Drape pow er cord over edge and into w asher basket.
7. P lace packing tray from original shipping m aterials back
inside w asher. If you do not have packing tray, place heavy
blankets or tow els into basket opening. C lose lid and place
tape over lid and dow n front of w asher. K eep lid taped until
w asher is placed in new location.
