How to connect and disconnect attachments
3.1 Hold your JACKPORT and iPhone*.
3.2 Chose “Yes” if you do not expect any calls or if you do not want to make any
calls while using your JACKPORT. (The sound will not be disturbed by audio
indifference).
3.3 Chose “No” if you want to be able to receive and make calls while using your
JACKPORT. (There might be audio indifference).
The choice has to be made within 15 seconds after the messages appears. Otherwise
the setting remains unchanged and your iPhone* is not in flight mode. In case you
want to switch to the flight mode manually, you need to choose the menu “Settings”
on your iPhone*.
4. Hold your JACKPORT and operate your iPhone*, iPod* as usual, use the buttons
on your JACKPORT (page 55) or the optional remote control (see page 58).

1. Remove all cords (power, headset) from you iPhone*, iPod*.
2. Connect your JACKPORT – Dock upwards – with the power outlet.
3. Hold your JACKPORT and plug your iPhone* or iPod* from above into the Dock (8).
Guideline for the iPhone* flight mode: Please take the following steps if this message
appears after connecting your iPhone* to the JACKPORT: “This appliance was not de-
signed for use with an iPhone*. Would you like to operate in flight mode to avoid
audio indifference? In this mode, you are not able to receive or make a call. Yes – No”

Audio indifference: For their use, mobile appliances create an indifference with electric
appliances which are close to the mobile unit. In some cases, audio indifference of
speakers and audio systems can be noticed as disturbing noise.
