Remove and check
the wire and flow
switch. Back-flush it
through, gently
tapping the side of
the flow switch, to
free any debris or
replace it if necessary
(AK1568).
Note
:
Always protect
the flow switch with
filter/strainer
.
Switch of
f the pump
at the mains and
allow the
transformer to cool
and reset. If this
does not solve the
problem replace the
transformer
(755.199).
The transformer has an overrun to allow the
pump to continue to run after the shower has
been turned of
f.
The overrun is factory set to 30
seconds and adjustable to 10, 90 or 180 seconds.
Allow overrun to run its allotted time. Does pump
continue to run even after the set over run time?
W
ith the power supply switched on disconnect
the small, white “bell” type wire between the
transformer & flow switch. Do not allow the two
disconnected wires to touch each other
.
This will
simulate the flow switch, switching of
f.
Does pump stop after overrun time has passed?
Ensure power is connected and turned on and
that the correct fuse has been fitted.
Press the
TEST
button above the cable entry on
the transformer
.
This simulates the switching on
action of the flow switch.
The pump will run for
the period of time set for the of
f delay either 10,
30, 90 or 180 seconds.
Remove and check the
wire and flow switch.
Back-flush it through,

No, replace transformer
(755.199).
Remove the transformer and
check the fuse fitted on the
base. Replace it if it has
blown – 5.0A(T).
Does pump start?
Note
: If fuse blows
persistently
, check
the pump cable to
make sure it is not
damaged or short
circuiting.
Does pump start?
W
ith shower turned
on, check for 21 volts
at pump. Is voltage
present?
Check all
electrical
connections If
problem
persists,
replace the
pump
(SDS021T).

The
pump is capable
of 8 l/min on

Inlet pipe is blocked
with debris. (Often a
screw cap, pivots in
the pipe vertically to
block it. Once the
pump stops it falls
horizontal and allows
the pump to suck
when used next).

Remove pump head by removing the blue retaining
clamps. Examine the inlet and outlet flap valves for
traces of hard debris such as grout. W
ash out debris and
ensure the valves are seated correctly
