Operation
Motion Controlled Operation
1.
You can adjust the motion sensor (1) horizontally and vertically. For
vertical adjustment, unscrew the locking screw (12) at the joint of the
motion sensor and hand tighten the screw after adjusting it.
2.
To adjust the motion sensor horizontally, grasp the whole sensor and
turn it very carefully to the left or to the right to the desired direction.
Adjustments
There are three adjusting knobs on the motion sensor:
SENS, TIME and LUX.
1.
With the SENS knob (9) the sensitivity of the motion sensor for motions
can be set.
2.
Use the TIME knob (10) to setup the illumination time of the unit after
motion stops in the field of vision. The time can be set from 10±5 sec-
onds to 10±1 minutes. Please note, once the light has been triggered
by the sensor any subsequent detection will start the timed period
again from the beginning.
3.
The LED floodlight has a built-in sensing device (photocell) that detects
daylight and darkness. Turn the LUX knob (11) towards (
) to have the
motion sensor turning on the light in brighter illumination conditions,
turn it to (
) to have the light activated only in darkness.
4.
The LED floodlight automatically switches on each time the motion
sensor (1) detects motion within its field of view. The light will turn off
after the set time when no more motion is detected.
Hint: The max. range of the motion sensor depends on the ambient
temperature. In cold environments, the range is higher.
Cleaning
Clean the housing of the floodlight only with a dry or lightly moistened
cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
Keep the motion sensor (1) clean at all times.
