Instruction Guide
Thank you for your purchase of the Larson Electronics EPL-BS-150HPS series light. This light is completely assembled,
tested and ready for use when shipped from factory. The light is shipped preconfigured with selected cord cap. Images
shown in this manual may not reflect your specific configuration. Please follow the steps below in order to operate and
maintain this product.

ABOUT ANY PART OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS, CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICAL PROFESSIONAL. THE EPL-BS-150HPS
MUST BE OPERATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE AND ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL CODES. PROPER
GROUNDING IS REQUIRED FOR SAFETY.

CLASSIFICATIONS. CHECK THE FIXTURE’S METAL NAMEPLATE FOR TEMPERATURE (T) RATINGS.

INSTALLATION
•
Before operation, confirm that the power source will provide the correct voltage
indicated on the product nameplate. Ensure the receptacle will accept the cord
cap attached to the light.
•
Check product nameplate for Ratings and Approvals.
•
Place the light in the desired location and run its power cord to a power source.
o
Fixture is portable by default but can be permanently secured.
o
Pre-drilled holes allow the fixture to be permanently mounted to flat
surfaces. Ensure surface can support the load before finalizing
installation. Light may be mounted in any direction as long as the power
cord can reach a receptacle.
•
Ensure all safety requirements are followed for the hazardous area. Prevent causing hazards with the power cord
and properly mark the area to eliminate cord snags.
•
This light is instant-on and will illuminate once energized.
This light is to be powered via
Voltage: 120V AC 60Hz
ADJUSTMENT
•
Loosen the adjustment screw on side of the light to make vertical adjustments. Tighten hand screw once desired
angle is achieved.
•
The light can be mounted in any direction to a sturdy surface. Ensure the mounting surface can withstand the
weight.
•
Use the handle on top for easy maneuverability.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Perform visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections on a regular basis. The environment and frequency of use
should determine this. However, it is recommended that checks be made at least once a year. We recommend an
Electrical Preventive Maintenance Program as described in the National Fire
