General Notes
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important information on
operation and handling of the product and should be passed to a third per-
son together with the item!
This four outlet power strip is intended for domestic use. The sockets com-
ply with all regulations regarding splash proof applications (Degree of pro-
tection IP44). However, they are not intended for use on construction sites
or other rough uses.
Safety Notes
Connect the unit only to a socket which is earthed according to the regula-
tions and corresponds to the requirements of IP 44.
The spike must be driven into sufficiently solid ground.
Do not set the unit up in areas which are subject to flooding and in which
electric components may be submerged during heavy rainfalls.
Keep a distance of at least 0.5 m to water containers.
The unit is only guaranteed to be splash proof if the plugs used with the
unit are according to the same standard (IP44).
Use only extension cords and connectors which are according to the same
regulations (IP 44) as the unit, to connect it to the power mains.
Do not lead the cable around sharp edges or over hot surfaces.
Never immerse the unit in liquids of any kind.
Before relocating the power strip disconnect it from the power mains. Pull
the power plug, do not pull on the power cable, always grasp the plug itself.
If the unit has fallen down or has come out of its upright position in any
way, check for water entry before turning on again. Disconnect the unit
from the power mains before checking for water entry. Do not connect the
unit to the power mains before you have made sure the inside is free from
water and dry.
If the unit itself or the power cable have been damaged, do not continue
using the unit, but have it repaired by a professional.
