Operation
General Information
With satellite dishes larger than Ø 90 cm or with high performance
LNBs with a gain of > 60 dB, you should connect a damping control
(ideally: level adjustment 0-20 dB) between the LNB and the sat
finder.
Advice
For rough adjustment, it is sometimes sufficient to copy the adjust-
ment of neighbouring satellite dishes. With pre-programmed sat re-
ceivers, it is sensible to switch to one particular television transmit-
ter. Usually, the appendix to the operating instructions includes lists
of which programme number is preset for which transmitter. If it then
actually appears on the television, you will then know that the mirror
is adjusted to the correct satellite.
