Operation
the TO REC socket. Then remover the F connection cable (B)
from the LNB and from the TO LNB socket and connect your sat
receiver to the LND or a multi-switch output.
Use with the Mobile Voltage Supply
(only possible for the vertical low band)
1. Connect the LNB to the sat finder (A) by means of the enclosed
F connection cable (B) and the TO LNB socket.
2. Insert 10 new batteries of the LR06 type (AA) with the correct
polarity into the enclosed battery holder. The correct polarity is
obvious from the symbols in the battery holder.
3. Connect the power supply cable (D) to the battery holder (C)
and to the TO REC socket on the sat finder (A). The scale illu-
mination on the sat finder is now switched on.
4. Turn the damping control (A2) to position 6 to begin with to en-
sure maximum sensitivity of the input. If a strong signal is al-
ready available, adjust the control in such a way that the indica-
tor on the display (A1) points to 5.
5. Adjust your satellite mirror by means of the enclosed magnetic
bearing compass (E) to the position of the desired satellite. The
signal tone will help you with this. Position and elevation values
of the satellites can be found in the appropriate specialist maga-
zines and on the Internet pages of the satellite operators.
6. Now start the fine adjustment by adjusting the mirror horizontally
and vertically until the displayed value has reached its maxi-
mum. When the maximum value is reached, set the controller to
such a setting that the indicator points to approximately 5. Re-
peat the fine adjustment until you achieve the maximum result.
7. Once you are satisfied with the settings of your device, please
remove the battery holder and then remove the LNB from the
sat finder.
