Using
Replacing the Battery
The battery compartment (2) is
located at the top side of the unit
(above the display). Pull the battery
holder, as pictured, out of the hous-
ing.
Insert a new battery of the type
CR2032 into the battery holder. Pay
attention to the proper polarity of the
battery. The plus pole is facing
down.
Carefully reinsert the battery holder into the device.
All symbols and icons are displayed while the device is perform-
ing a self-test for approx. Then the device is ready for use.
Replace the battery if the display readability gets weaker or if you
get irreproducible measuring results
Cleaning and Storing
Only use a soft, lit free cloth to clean the unit. Do not use aggres-
sive chemicals or abrasives and do not use liquids.
If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, please remove
the battery.
When not in use always, insert the depth measuring tip (6) into
the corresponding holder (7).
Store the unit indoors in a place that is protected from moisture,
dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
Store the unit out of reach of children.
