Functions and Samples Calculation
ƒ Rounding Mode Switch (2): Use the rounding mode switch to
display a calculation result either rounded up or down.
Push this switch to the left position to display the last digit of a
decimal place of your calculation result rounded up.
Push this switch to the right position to display the last digit of a
decimal place of your calculation result rounded down.
Set this switch to the centre position in order to round up or down
the last digit of a decimal place of your calculation result depend-
ing on the value of the digit.
ƒ Decimal Place Switch (12): Use this switch to determine the
number of decimal places to be included and displayed in calcu-
lation results (see examples below).
ƒ Memory Function Keys (3): The following functions are available:
MC: Delete internal memory
MR: Recall internal memory
M-: Subtract a value from the internal memory
M+ Add a value to the internal memory
ƒ CE/C Key (6): This button can be used to undo or cancel inputs.
ƒ ON/AC Key (7): With the power key ON/AC, all calculation steps
are cleared so that new calculations can be made. The internal
memory is erased after pressing this key.
ƒ +/- Key (5): Use this button to toggle the sign of a value.
ƒ GT Key (10): Press the GT key once to display and to erase the
grand total memory during grand total calculations.
ƒ EX Key (13): Exchange record
ƒ Calculating Keys (9): The following computational functions are
available:
Adding (+), subtracting (-), multiplying (x), dividing (:), percent
calculation (%), square root (
