5.9 Checking Fluid Level in Hydraulic Power Unit
The fluid level in the hydraulic power unit should be checked at least once every three months. If fluid
needs to be added, use DEXRON Automatic Transmission Fluid only.
To check the fluid:
1.
Raise the bucket to gain access to
the hydraulic power unit (A).
2.
Unscrew the fill cap (B).
WARNING:
Do not operate the
dumper mechanism when the fill
cap is removed from the hydraulic
power unit.
3.
Inspect the fluid level using a
flashlight. The fluid should be half
an inch from the top of the unit.
Add fluid as necessary to reach
this level.
4.
Reinstall the fill cap.
