DESCRIPTION
AD110 is a 6-voice analog drum module
inspired by the vintage Japanese
machines with the same number. The
module produces 6 voices; kick drum,
snare drum, hand clap, closed hi-hat,
open hi-hat, and ride cymbal, all of
which are contained in a very compact
16HP Eurorack module! Each voice is
outputted to it’s own ~10Vpp Eurorack-
standard output, as well as being sent to
a mix output which can accept an
additional trigger to produces sounds on
this output to be briefly louder in time
with that trigger (AKA “Accent”).
In addition to each voice being
essentially faithfully recreated from their
original circuitry, some modifications
have been made to increase the range
of sounds available, including tone
control for the decaying portion of the
kick drum (pitch and resonance), pitch
for the resonant portion of the snare
drum, decay of the “snare wires” (noise)
part of the snare drum, decay of the
cymbal sound, the spread or flam
amount of the hand clap sound, and the
length of the clap “reverb”.
