Start up
Height Adjustment according to Pile Type
With the pile height adjuster (9) you can set the height of the brushing roller. Only
adjust the pile height when the device is switched off in order to avoid injuries
resp. damaging the device.
ƒ When cleaning hard floor such as laminate, tiles, PVC etc. set the pile height
adjuster completely to the left in direction of the SHORT PILE sign. First do a
test run and clean the surface on a hidden place to make sure the brushing
roller does not damage the surface.
ƒ When cleaning short-pile
carpets, runners, etc, turn
the pile height adjuster
one step further in
clockwise direction.
ƒ If you want to clean
medium-pile carpets and
runners, set the pile
height adjuster to the
centre position.
ƒ When cleaning carpets
and runners, turn the pile
height adjuster one step
further clockwise or to the
HIGH PILE position.
Switching ON and OFF
Switch on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the ON/OFF switch (2)
and not by pulling out the power cord from the socket.
As soon as the vacuum cleaner is switched on the brushing roller
rotates. Adjust the pile height adjuster only when the device is
switched off. There is risk of injuries!
When switching off the vacuum cleaner, fold up the handle to make
sure the vacuum cleaner is in the storage position.
Always pull the power cord if you do not use the vacuum cleaner.
