Overload Protection
This saw is fitted with an overload protection which is displayed by an LED, to
prevent damaging the tool.
If the LED blinks during cutting, it means the machine is nearing overload. If
the LED lights up continuously, it means the machine is overloaded, and the
machine will turn off. In this case, reduce the feed rate to achieve the best
results. If the LED lights up steadily, the machine is either overloaded or has
hit an obstacle. In this case the machine turns off. Set the switch to off and
turn the machine back on.
Cutting
This saw is unique because it clamps the material to be cut between its base
plate and the work surface, using a plunge action to ease the blade into the
cut. This results in a faster, easier and cleaner cut. This saw is equipped with a
soft start function, the start is very smooth. The machine will not start suddenly
when the ON/OFF switch is pressed. Whenever possible use the included
parallel guide.
1. Make sure the saw blade is correct for the material you want to cut.
2. Fit the correct blade ensuring it is sharp and not damaged.
3. Set the cutting depth.
4. Place the material to be cut onto a flat surface such as a workbench, table
or floor. Use a piece of scrap material underneath to prevent marking the
work surface and prevent damaging the blade by the work surface e.g. by a
concrete floor.
5. Grasp the handle firmly with your hand so that it feels comfortable. Your
finger should be towards the front of the power switch.
6. Do not cover any of the front or rear vents with your hand.
