Using
Before first Use
Remove all parts of the smoke oven from the packaging. Keep packing materials
away from infants. There is danger of suffocation! Clean all parts of the unit
before using the first time as described below in the chapter “Maintenance”.
Before using the smoke oven for the first time to smoke food, let the oven heat up
for 30 minutes (with no food) in order to burn out residues during manufacturing
process. This procedure is necessary for the first time only.
Assembly
Smoking Lid (C):
1. Use a screw (b) and a nut (f) to mount the smoke
regulator (I) to the smoking lid.
2. Install the knob (K) and the cover (J) with the
screw (d) on the top side of the smoking lid.
3. Put the thermometer (N) into the corresponding
opening at the smoking lid. Fix it with the provided
tensioning hoop (see photo on the right).
4. Mount the two hanging rods (M) with two cap nuts
(h) to the smoking lid.
Upper Oven Body (B):
Note: The upper oven body (B) and the lower oven
body (A) look very similar. The lower oven body in
addition has bore holes at the bottom for installing the
feet.
1. Install the two knobs (K) and the covers (J) with
screws (d) at the side of the upper oven body.
2. Mount the three support brackets (L) with the
screws (b), the nuts (f) and the cap nuts (k) at the
inner surface of the upper oven body.
3. Use four screws (c) and nuts (g) for fixing the two
hinges on the door lid (H). Use four additional
screws (c) and nuts (g) for fixing the door lid on the
upper oven body (B). The hinge axis should face
outward (see figure at the right).
