Position of the Magnets
The motor of the sliding gate opener is equipped with a magnetic limit switch that
is built-in on the electronic control board.
In order to ensure proper function of the magnets and to position them correctly,
the sliding gate opener must be mounted properly. Disengage the gearwheel and
disconnect power supply!
Mount both magnets on the desired positions on the gate. See the drawing below.
The magnet with the N-Pole must be placed on the left side of the gate and the
magnet with the S-Pole must be placed on the right side of the gate (view from
inside of the property).
When mounting the sliding gate opener, we recommend to leave a distance of
approx. 10 cm between the wall and the gate and to additionally mount a positive
stop on the ground. See below drawing. This will prevent the gate and the wall
from damages due to power failure.
