Troubleshooting
ƒ
Poor reception indicates that the battery in the remote control should be
replaced. When changing the battery, make sure the battery is correctly
placed into the compartment.
ƒ If the consumer load e.g. the exterior light cannot be switched on, check if the
illuminant is defective.
ƒ If there is no reception at all, check the power circuit and the mains power.
ƒ
Keep in mind that other wireless applications active on the same frequency
band may cause interference. If possible switch off those applications while
using the remote control.
ƒ The remote switch is equipped with a built-in micro-fuse against overload. If
necessary, replace the fuse with one of the same type.
Maintenance and Cleaning
ƒ If you do not use the remote control for a long period of time, remove the
battery.
ƒ Do not clean the remote control with abrasives or aggressive chemicals in
order no to damage the surfaces. Only clean the unit with a lightly moistened
cloth.
ƒ Make sure that liquids cannot enter the interior of the remote control.
