Operating
Before first Use
Remove both units out of the packaging and check for damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging material or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags
may become a deadly toy for children.
Insulating strip on the Remote Control
The remote control is powered by a 12 V battery of the type A23. The unit is
delivered with the battery already inserted. Only remove the insulating strip in
order to energise the remote control.
Mounting
The transmission range is approx. 25 meters in a free field. Keep in mind that the
transmission range can be reduced by obstacles such as walls of concrete. If
continuous interferences occur, try to reposition the receiver.
Do not mount the receiver in the vicinity of metallic objects.
Before firmly mounting the receiver, make sure the radio signal is transmitted
correctly.
1. Mount the receiver on the intended place. Use suitable dowels and screws for
the ground.
2. Use two screws to fix the receiver through the mounting holes (E) or through
the mounting hooks (F). Make sure the cords are downward-looking.
Connection
Electrical connection work has to be carried out only by electricians. In case of
questions, ask your electrical technician.
1. First, remove the respective fuse for the intended circuit before you connect
the remote switch to the circuit.
2. Take care mains voltage cannot be switched on by a third party during
connection work (e. g. padlock, sign).
3. Use a double-pole voltage tester to make sure that the input lead is voltage-
free.
