Safety Notes
ƒ Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating
label.
ƒ Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
ƒ Do not immerse the unit in liquids.
ƒ Make sure the sanding pad is correctly in place before switching on the
machine.
ƒ
Avoid moving parts while working. There is danger of injury!
ƒ Never sand materials containing asbestos. Wear personal protection and
protective goggles.
ƒ Please note that poisonous dust may be emitted while removing paint. Use
suitable inhalation protection and ensure adequate ventilation.
ƒ If you fit a vacuum cleaner on the dust extractor connection, make sure the
parts are connected and used correctly. Using such equipment reduces
hazards from dust.
ƒ Should the unit become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble
the unit or try repairing it yourself.
