Operation
Changing the Sanding Pad
The sander has a sanding plate with a hook-and-loop system, so the sanding pad
can be quickly changed.
1. Always switch off the machine and pull the mains plug.
2. Pull off the sanding pad. Place the new sanding pad and make sure the
openings of the plate and the sanding pad fit together.
Maintenance and Cleaning
ƒ
Always pull the mains plug before carrying out and work on the machine!
ƒ Included in delivery you will find a pair of carbon brushes. If the carbon
brushes are used, contact the Westfalia customer support department or a
professional. Maintenance work should only be carried out by qualified repair
personnel.
ƒ Clean the dust extraction opening and the extractor nozzle from time to time
with a stiff brush.
ƒ Use a lightly moistened cloth to clean the housing of the machine. Do not use
solvents, abrasives or aggressive chemicals for cleaning.
ƒ Make sure liquids of any kind cannot enter the housing.
