7.0 OPTIMIZATION
When the unbalance measured on the wheel , is very high (e.g.: static unbalance > 50g) we
suggest running the unbalance optimization procedure. The program allows the total unbalance of
the wheel to be reduced compensating, when possible, the static unbalance of the tire with the
one of the rim.
The optimization process consist in a first spin done only with the rim, then after the mounting of the
tire on the rim a second spin with the complete wheel, and finally a rotation of the tire on the rim in
order to match, in the best possible way, the static unbalance of the rim and the tire.

Proceed as follow:
From the main menu choose “OPTIMIZATION”, On the screen will appear the screen as at Fig. 15.
To start the optimization, mount the rim on the machine paying attention that the valve match with
the red mark on the shaft of the wheel balancer. Press
START , on the top side of the screen will
appear “RIM MEASURMENT” . Close the hood protection and the press START again in order to
spin the rim for the first step.
