3.3. Warning Regarding Incorrect Use
DANGER!
If used improperly or for purposes other than those intended, or in case of manipulation,
hazards for persons and damage to the machine or system components cannot be ruled
out through the use of the Safety Switch.
NOTE!
Please observe comments included in EN ISO 14119 in this regard as well.
3.4. Exclusion of liability
• The products described herein have been developed in order to fulfill safety-relevant functions as part of
a complete system or machine. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the machine or a system to
assure correct overall functioning.
• We shall accept no liability for damages and malfunctions resulting from defective mounting or failure to
comply with this operating instructions manual. The manufacturer shall accept no liability for damages
resulting from the use of unauthorized spare parts or accessories.
• For safety reasons, invasive work on the device as well as arbitrary repairs, conversions and modifications
to the device are strictly forbidden; the manufacturer shall accept no liability for damages resulting from
such invasive work, arbitrary repairs, conversions and/or modifications to the device.
