NOTE:
The side panels have a notch in the bottom front corner.
1. Lay the right-hand side panel (#22) flat, with the outside surface up. The dowel holes do not go through to the outside surface.
2.
See Detail A
.
If Two Full-Length Cabinet Doors will be installed, use a plastic mallet to pound 8-32 screw inserts (#10 oyster)
into the twelve holes (four sets) located approximately
19

32
" and 1
3
/

" from the front edge of both panels.
The inserts will be used later for hinge screws. See pages 64 - 66.
3.
See Detail A
.
Pound 8-32 screw inserts (#10 oyster) into the four holes located at the bottom front corner of both panels.
The inserts will be used later for side levelers.
4. There are thirty holes in each side panel that will be used in step 21 below for shelf support bar screws.
Use a plastic mallet to pound
1
/
4
-20 screw inserts (#9 oyster) into all of these holes.
5. Pound
1
/
4
-20 screw inserts (#9 oyster) into the two holes located at the bottom of both panels.
The inserts will be used later for cleats.
6. To protect corners and edges while moving the cabinet into place, push or hammer plastic tack glides (#13, not shown) into the
bottom edge of the side panel, about 4" from the corners.
7. Flip the side panel over and attach a side leveler (#91) towards the front of the panel using two
3
/
4
" flat-head screws (#49)
into the screw inserts from step 3.
8. Slip the two toe kick extrusions (#59) onto the front edge of the toe-kick area of the side panels and secure each with a

" painted pan-head screw (#14).
9. Repeat steps 1 through 9 on the left-hand side panel (23).
NOTE:
The panels are large and hard to keep aligned when you attach them together with screws.
Because of this, in several of the following steps you will be told to “peg” the parts first by inserting wood dowels (#6).
These dowels fit snugly into existing
5
/
16
"-diameter holes in the panels, and may have to be tapped into place.
10. Insert wood dowels into the side edges of the top panel (#20) and the top edge of the top front stretcher panel (#48).
11. Attach the top front stretcher (48) to the top panel (#20) using 2" hex-socket screws (#2 oyster).

12. Turn the side panels on edge, with their front edges down. With the wood dowels, peg the side panels to the top panel.
Then attach the side panels to the side edges of the top panel and the ends of the top front stretcher panel with
2" hex-socket screws (#2 oyster).
Tighten the screws using the allen wrench or bit packed with these instructions.
13. Peg the two back panels (#21) together, and attach them to the side and top panels, using 2" hex-socket screws (#2 oyster).
NOTE:
The pilot holes at the top of the top back panel face outside of the cabinet and
the pilot holes at the bottom of the bottom back panel face inside of the cabinet.
14. For support, temporarily attach one shelf support bar (#43) to the bottom of the side panels using
5
/
8
" button-head hex-socket
screws (#46 oyster) into the screw inserts from step 5 as shown in the detail view.
15.
See Detail B.
Using

" pan-head screws (#4), attach two corner leveler brackets (#16) to the rear inside of the side panels.
Attach the other edge of the bracket to the back panel.
After the brackets are attached, screw the levelers in so the plastic glides extend slightly further than the bottom of the levelers.

17. Move the cabinet to its intended location, and level it by using a 1/4" socket or wrench.
Refer to the leveling procedure on page 58.
18. Detach the shelf support bar from step 14 above and set it and the

19. a.
Attach two cleats (#92) using

/
8
" button-head hex-socket screws (#46 oyster) in the slotted hole of each bracket
into the screw inserts from the previous step. Depending on available space, one or two screws may be used.
b.
Attach the cleats to the side panels using two

" pan-head screws (#4) in the two remaining holes.
c.
Anchor the cleats to the floor using appropriate fasteners (not supplied).
20. Apply .350 x .60 vinyl caps (#93) to the four side and corner leveler posts.
