Safety instructions and warnings
To ensure safe operation of the unit, it is necessary to read the following safe-
ty instructions and warnings carefully and comply with them.
The safety instructions summarized here are repeated in the corresponding
chapters, where necessary.

General

Definitions
Operator
Person who provides dry water massage units on a commercial basis. The
operator is responsible for the orderly operation of the unit as well as compli-
ance with the maintenance intervals.
User/patient
Person who uses the dry water massage unit at a commercial location.
Personnel
People who are responsible for the operation, cleaning and general mainte-
nance work and who instruct the users in the operation of the units.
Electrician
A person with suitable professional training, knowledge, experience and
knowledge of the applicable regulations which enable them to identify and
avoid the dangers which can arise from working with electricity.
Authorized, trained and qualified personnel
Qualified staff from an external company who have been trained and author-
ized by the manufacturer to undertake assembly and maintenance work on
specific equipment.
Dry water massage unit
In these operating instructions the dry water massage unit is referred to in the
short form 'unit'.
