Using the blood pressure monitor or the batteries improperly may result in fire or an ex-
plosion.
− Do not throw batteries in an open fire.
− Do not charge any non-rechargeable batteries.
− Never destroy the batteries.
− Never short circuit the batteries.
− Promptly remove empty batteries from the battery compartment.
− Only use batteries of the same type (see chapter “Technical data”).
− Do not use old and new batteries together.
− Before inserting the batteries, make sure the contacts inside the battery compart-
ment and on the battery itself are clean and intact. Clean them if necessary.
