Replace Charcoal Filter

Procedure
1
Turn off hood
Be sure the hood is
turned off. Be sure the
exhaust fan has
stopped turning.

Loosen
Thumb
Screw(s).
Loosen the two (2)
thumb screw(s)
securing the filter
access panel on the
top of the hood.
Single fan versions of
the hood have one
thumb screw. Dual
fan versions have two
thumb screws.

Remove
the
Old Filter
Lift the
filter access panel and
slide the old charcoal
filter out of its holder
and discard.

Insert Filter
Slide in a new filter
taking note of the
airflow
direction
arrow
shown on the side of
the
filter.
The arrow should point
up out of the hood.

Tighten Thumb
Screw
Lower the access panel
and tighten the two (2)
thumb screw(s) securing
the filter access panel on
the top of the hood.
