11. Clean the burner.
a. Vacuum cleaner method – Vacuum the burner, being
careful not to rub or scrape the fi ber mesh.
b. Water Flush – Water Only! – Rinse the burner down.
Allow time to dry completely.
12. Reinstall the burner.

e burner can only be installed one way. Th
e inside
baffl
es will be perpendicular and parallel to the boiler
sides. See Figures 90 and Figure 92 .
b. Ensure the graphite burner gasket is in place before
installing burner!
Th
e graphite burner gasket must be installed cor-
rectly. Failure to comply could result in severe
personal injury, death or substantial property
damage.
c. Gradually tighten the eight (8) M6 nuts using a 11mm
socket or wrench in the order shown on Figure 104,
page 110 to a torque of 7.4 ft .-lbs.
13. Re-install the burner access plate
a. Ensure the burner access plate gasket is in place before
installing the plate!

e burner access plate gasket must be installed
correctly. Failure to comply could result in severe
personal injury, death or substantial property
damage.
b. Ensure the gasket is aligned properly with the reliefs on
the plate, see Figure 90 .
c. Gradually tighten the eight (8) M6 nuts using a 11mm
socket or wrench in the order shown on Figure 104,
page 110 to a torque of 7.4 ft -lbs.
14. Test the boiler, making sure the fl ame is acceptable aft er
cleaning by using Startup Procedure on page 88 .
15. If the Flame or Combustion valves are not acceptable.
Shut down the boiler and replace the burner
16. Verify no leaks around the burner access plate.
