Use one-pipe oil piping only when:

the fuel is gravity fed — or —
•
the fuel must be lifted
no more than 8 feet

Burner fuel pump bypass plug must not be used
with
one-pipe installations.
One-pipe installations must be absolutely air tight to
prevent leaks or loss of prime
. Bleed line and fuel
pump completely. Bleed for 15 seconds after last air
bubble is seen from easy flow air bleed valve to be cer-
tain lines are air free. When bleeding oil pumps on
burners equipped with lockout-type controls, you may
have to cycle the burner several times to complete purg-
ing.
