Service and maintenance schedules
Follow the Service and maintenance procedures given throughout
this manual and in component literature shipped with the boiler.
Failure to perform the service and maintenance could result in
damage to the boiler or system. Failure to follow the directions
in this manual and component literature could result in severe
personal injury, death or substantial property damage.
The boiler contains ceramic fiber
and fiberglass materials. Use care
when handling these materials per
instructions on page 106 of this
manual. Failure to comply could
result in severe personal injury.

Annual start-up
General:
• Address reported problems, page 69.
• Inspect boiler area, page 69.
• Inspect boiler interior, page 69.
• Inspect condensate drain system, page 69.
• Inspect all piping for leaks, page 69.
• Inspect gas piping, page 69.
• Inspect the water system, page 69.
• Check water system chemistry, page 69.
• Clean and refill condensate trap, page 69.
• Inspect expansion tank, page 70.
• Inspect air openings, page 70.
• Inspect vent system and air piping, page 70.
• Inspect boiler heating surfaces, page 70.
• Inspect igniter, page 70.
• Inspect temperature mixing system, page 71.
• Inspect additional controls and cutoffs,
page 71.
• Inspect gauges, page 71.
• Inspect blower motor, page 71.
• Inspect oiled-bearing circulators, page 71.
• Inspect Temperature/LWCO sensor, page 71 .
