1. Scope and validity
This Operating Manual applies to the serial analogous indicators
SERANA-Q 96
and
SERANA-Q 144
for the following device variants:
•
Rotation speed according to IEC20672 with Wheelmark certificate
•
Rudder angle indicators according to IEC20673 with Wheelmark certificate
•
Propeller speed according to IEC22554 with Wheelmark certificate
•
NMEA indicators with type approval
2. Safety
2.1 Intended use
SERANA-Q 96
and
SERANA-Q 144
are serial analogous indicators for use in shipbuilding
industry.
2.2 Limitations of use
The product must only be operated under the stated
Environmental Conditions
.
Respect the IP enclosure codes.
The current circuits must be protected by fuses for the maximum admissible currents.
2.3 Safety precautions
Installation and maintenance tasks must only be performed by qualified persons observing
the actual valid safety precautions.
The product must only be transported or stored in the original packaging, thereby observe
the
Environmental Conditions
. Check the product for damages after transport or storage.
