Before installing oil cooler cover gasket, first, check the oil cooler cover gasket and oil cooler

cover, and make sure there is no manufacturing or use defect and damage.

Clean the junction surface of oil cooler cover and engine block, and install the oil cooler cover

gasket.

Install the oil cooler cover bolts, and tighten them up.

9.8.5 Overhaul of Oil Cooler Cover

Check if there is crack or any other damage on oil cooler cover itself. If there is crack, it is

necessary to replace the oil cooler cover.

Check oil cooler cover gasket. If there is water leakage, it is necessary to check the failure of

oil cooler cover gasket. At the same time, replace it with a new oil cooler cover gasket.
